Another Basic Hypnosis Seminar Outline

(Keep your talk less than 50 minutes)

Introduce yourself and tell how you got interested in hypnosis, what education and training you received, etc
 

Explain what hypnosis is and give a brief history.

You might say, "Hypnosis is...........”

(1) An altered state of consciousness;

(2) Imagination and communication - message sent/message received; and

(3) Almost everything is hypnotic."
 

Explain how your mental DNA is different than anyone else's in the world.  

How the five senses relate to the past, present and future states of mind.
 

Ask "What is your favourite place?"

Have the audience experience it in the five senses.

Do a relaxation exercise and take them to their special places.
 

Explain NLP and how to build mind models. (Optional)
 

Explain how to set achievable goals for the future and how to use hypnosis to experience them in the present.
 

Explain the power of post-hypnotic suggestions.
 

Explain how to set up a daily self-hypnosis routine.
 

Wrap-up.
Questions and answers.

How to contact you, the speaker.

Announce future programs that you may be offering.


This outline can be used for many different aspects of hypnosis.  You could specialise on sports, health, learning, positive thinking, creativity, habit change, etc
